About George D Gingrich
29 June 1971: George D. Gingrich of the United Christian Home, Annville RD, died Monday evening at the home. He was 98. Born in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Cyrus and Emma Carmany Gingrich. Gingrich was a retired employee of the Bethlehem Steel Corp., and a member of the Sunnyside United Christian Church of Cleona. Surviving are five sons, Charles, Daniel, and Frank of Lebanon; Nelson and James of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Goshert, Lebanon; Mrs. Lucy Fetterman, Hummelstown, and Mrs. Laura LeGay, Cleona. A number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren survive, as well as a sister, Miss Fannie Gingrich of Lebanon. [Lebanon Daily News]
