About George Godfrey
George and Barbara Godfrey emigrated to Prince Edward Island in 1833 from Suffolk County, England and leased a piece of property there. He was William Godfrey’s brother. George married a woman from Cornwall England, Barbara Pethick, and they had a large family, all of whom stayed on PEI. Their son, Charles would later take over their farm.
