George Grinager was born May 3, 1900 to parents Gunerius and Mathia (Sorum) Grinager in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota.

George was baptized and confirmed in Bergen Lutheran Church of Stony Run Township. He was confirmed May 24, 1914.

He was married to Cora Lageson on December 31, 1929. They made their home in Lisbon Township, where George farmed until 1964.

Mr. Grinager, 83, passed away November 12, 1983, at the Clarkfield Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Cora; three children: Georgia Adams of Northfield, Minnesota, Marlys Anderson of Bremerton, Washington and Gifford DeWayne Grinager of Bloomington, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister Mabel Larson of Clarkfield; two nieces and six nephews.

George was proceded in death by his parents; his two half brothers, Arnt and Ole Melbostad; and his sister Amanda Cornelius.
