George R. Gustafson, Sr.

George R Gustufson Sr, 61 of 327 W 2nd, died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Born March 24 ,1909, in Oil City, a son of the late John and Jennie Sand Gustufson, he was a graduate of Fairview High School and had been employed as a set up man at Hays Manufacturing Co.

Surviving are his wife, Kahtryn Roach Gustufson; a daughter, Mrs Ralph (Carol) Kridler, and a son, George R Jr both of Erie; three brothers, G.N. of Fairview, Eric A. of Brownsville and T.W. of Erie; two sisters, Mrs Harold (Hazel) Pelton of Albion and Mrs Paul (Elsie) Cowan of Mechanicsburg; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Donald C Burton Funeral Home, 602 W. 10th, Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Services will be held at 2pm Monday with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
