The VIRGINIA GAZETT E of February 6, 1768 states that Mr. George HARDING of Hal ifax County Virginia died lately in Stafford County where h e had gone on business. The inventory of the estate of Geor ge HARDING, deceased, was filed in Halifax County, 1768.

   " In the name of God Amen, I Henry ASHBY of the County of M ercer and State of Kentucky, being weak in body but of perf ect mind and memory thanks be unto God, calling unto mind t he mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed fo r all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Wil l and Testament & as touching such worthy state wherewith i t hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, devise , and dispose of the same in the following manner and form:
