George B. Hartsuff

SALISBURY- A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wicomico Memorial Park for George B. Hartsuff, 73, of East Fairfield Drive, who retired in 1978 as a construction worker in Florida. He died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1989, in Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center here of respiratory failure.

The Rev. Tom Bunting will officiate.

Born in Wamtum, PA., he was a son of the late Howard and Louise Bradford Hartsuff. He was a member of Salisbury Elks Lodge 817.

Surviving are five children, George B. Hartsuff Jr., Christina Murphy, Annapolis, Howard Hartsuff, Mendon, La., Marlene Hurley, Seaford, and Darlene Butler, Parsonsburg; a brother, William Hartsuff, Angola, Ind., four sisters, Ruth Edmonds, Pittsburgh, Pa., Sallie Saunders, Betty Naglreiter, Palm Beach Garden, Fla., and Violet Meyers, North Palm Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by the Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
