Elizabeth Hayden JJ3-378 2 May 1813-12 Apr 1815 St Mary's County, MD To sister Mary horse & saddle; to Rev Leonard Edelin $200 as a small compensation for the trouble he has had with me; give & bequeath to Rev Francis ---- $20; give & bequeath to the use of St Joseph Church $20 & the money placed in the hands of Mrs Mary Jackson for her to get what is most wanting; slave Philip to be sold but not out of state & he is to be paid $10 out of the sale money; to Rev Francis Dickerson ----- of the monastery at Mt Carmel; appoint Basil Alvey exec. Witnesses: Joseph Morgan, Edward Godard Executed at an Orphan's Court 12 Apr 1815. Present: Luke Barber and John R Plater. Challenged by George Hayden by his attornies HGS Key & Thomas Blakistone.
