George Henderson was a stone mason probably born, raised, and died in Dunblane Scotland. Records of the Masonic Lodge IX of Dunblane seem to indicate that he was active in the Lodge and did some travelling for recruits. He seems to have been part of a family of masons. Much of what we know of George and his wife, Jean Drummond, we have learned from the records of their son, Stephen.
