G. W. HOTELLING CLAIMED MONDAY
Rites For Carey Native To Be Held 2 P.M. Wednesday
George W. Hotelling, 83, of 416 Grove St., Carey, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday in Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 14, 1883 in Wyandot County, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Long) Hotelling. He married Grace Briggs, March 16, 1923 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Donald and Richard, both of Carey; daughters, Mrs. Lola Mae Caudill, New Port Richey, Fla., and Mrs. Margaret Cole, Carey; brothers, Andy, Carey, and Joe, of Upper Sandusky, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Snyder, Fairborn, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Mr. Hotelling was an employee of the village of Carey for the past 30 years. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Carey Evangelical United Brethren Church. The Rev. Robert Klingel will officiate with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Goff Funeral Home, Carey, after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services.
