George Huxtable married Sarah Batty in 1908 at Lancaster, Lancashire, England.

George served with the Kings Own, Royal Lancaster Regiment during WW1 and was gassed at the Battle of Somme. He eventually died in 1960 and is buried in Bridgewater, Somerset.
