George Kellam/Killam settled at Pine Flat where he engaged intensely in farming, lumbering, and mercantile businesses He was considered quite eccentric. He left a large mansion, where he had lived in solitude, never having married He died a very old man, the farm and mansion passed into the hands of one Joseph Ross, relationship unknown, but probably a cousin.
