King is recorded as the nephew of John King # 1700, John King was the brother of George King. John King and George King were two of the sons of Ogimawadj, patriarch of the King family. Ogimawadj and his wife Quashmigo are known to have had 9 children.

Two of George King's sons identified in the 1907 Wooster Roll are Charles G. King #1746 (traditional name Pinessiwigishig) and James G. King # 1741 (traditional name Shawankoaam). Ancestry.com which identifies only traditional names documents both Pinessiwigishig and Shawankoaam as sons of a man whose traditional name is "Wonguod".
