If you mean the Nancy who married John Ramsey, contemporary sources (a newspaper article I believe) stated she was a descendant of the Dane, She was not a daughter of Mary Pelton, that's been disproven. Her father was probably Theodore, son of Jacob, son of George Larrison who was the ancestro of Nancy's daughter in-law Emeline Ramsey.

Eastern Kentucky Ancestors

"I have attached the 3 Larrison children to ? as I do not know which of William's sons could be the father, although I am convined this is the right family. William's daughter Keziah m. James Park(e) and their descendants settled in Eastern KY; Rachel (dau of ?) m. E. Stewart in NJ and they settled in KY. All 3 families arrived in KY in the late 1700's and all are from NJ. In all of my research I have found VERY few KY families that are from NJ."

"Pioneers of Old Hopewell" by Ralph Ege

William Larison probably resided at Hopewell until after the death of Mrs. Larison, or near the close of life, when he removed to New Brunswick and probably resided with one of his children. In 1751 his son James owned the tract east of the road along the old driftway as shown by the deed from Joshua Anderson to Hon. John Hart and his brother Daniel on October 4 of that year.

The will of William Larison dated at New Brunswick, N. J., April 7, and probated May 30, 1749, is recorded in Libre 6, Folio 70, in the office of the Secretary of State at Trenton and was copied in part by the writer many years ago. This will is remarkable for the deep religious feeling manifested in the introductory sentences, which, although in accordance with the custom of the times, is extended far beyond all precedent, and contains the whole scheme of redemption as revealed in the New Testament.

".... I do make and Constitute my beloved son John Larison and son-in-law David Stout to be my executors of this my will and do Empower them to Collect in my debts and dispose of my Estate to the best advantage at discretion of my Executors and after paying my Just Debts Funeral Charges and my aforesaid Legacy to Divide the remainder as aforesaid among my aforesaid sons William Thomas John and George and I do hereby revoke and Disannul all other Wills, Whatsoever heretofore by me made Ratifying and Conforming this and only this to be my Last Will and Testament.

"In witness Whereof I the said William Larison have hereunto set my hand & seal this seventh day of April in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and forty nine

"Signed William Larison "Witnesses Jediah Higgins-Samuel Wilson and Robert Rolfe"
