(I.) GEORGE LAWRENCE, b. 1637; m., Sept. 29, 1657, ELIZABETH CRISPE.
[See Crispe.] She d. May 28, 1681, and he m. (2d), Aug. 16, 1691. ELIZABETH HOLLAND (? wid. of Joseph.) His Will was dated 1707, and he d. Mar. 21, 1708-9. "an aged man," leaving wid. Elizabeth. Inventory £171. 5. 6. On Feb. 27, 1697-8, he and wife Elizabeth conveyed 10 acres of land in Wat. to Rev. John Emerson, of Charlestown, who immediately assigned it to Benjamin and Daniel Lawrence, twin sons of George. Nov. 3, 1691, he was by the Court excused from serving as Constable, "in that he could not read a word."

(I) George Lawrence was born in 1637, died March 21, 1708-09-; his will was dated 1707. He married first, Elizabeth Crispe, born January 8, 1636-37, daughter of Benjamin and Bridget Crispe, of Watertown; she died May 28, 1681. He married second, August 16. 1691, Elizabeth Holland.

1. Elizabeth, born January 30, 1658, married, October 18. 1681, Thomas Whitney, born August 24, 1656, died September 20, 1719.

2. Judith, born May 12. 1660. married, about 1681. John Stearns.

3. Hannah, born March 24. 1661-62. married Obadiah Sawtel, of Groton.

4. John, born March 25, 1664. killed June 15, 1674, by being run over by a load of bricks.

5. Benjamin, born May 2, 1666, married Anna Adams Coolidge.

6. Daniel, twin of Benjamin, was living in Charlestown in 1708.
