1774 George was one of the signers of a petition from the inhabitants of Westmoreland and Ohio Counties to Gov. Penn asking for aid in their conce rn about an Indian war.

Children named in the will are: Christiana, Catherine, wife of George Hall and her children now living, Elizabeth, Benjamin, John, and son Solomon, not heard from for 12 years, if he returns, son Abraham, grandson George Forsyth. Executors: sons John and Benjamin. Witnesses: James Lyon,John Cochran and Thomas Culbertson.
