(From the probate files at Chester Co, PA) Will of David Mackey Esq Proved November 7, 1820 No 6845 Registered in Books no Vol 13 page 271
David Mackey Esq of the Township of Londongrove in the Co of Chester bequests to my dearly beloved wife Agness Mackey during her natural life all that part of my land North of the Road leading from New London Cross Roads to John Ross viz beginning at the South East Corner of John Pennock's Lot .. also my personal Property .. excepting the farm Utensils and Yoke of Oxen and Cart..at her decease the said personal Property to be Equally divided between my two daughters Susan Allison and Letitia Mackey.
unto my son George Mackey .. part of the land on the South of the Road above mentioned.. and at the decease of his Mother Agness Mackey all that part which she held during her Natural life as above described I give and devise unto the said George Mackey.. he paying out of the Real Estate above bequeathed to him the Legacies as is herein after mentioned and also one bond due Elizabeth Fury for the sum of Fifty pounds and two other bonds due to the above George Mackey for the sum of sixty pounds. Also I give and bequeath to George Mackey all my farming Utensils, Yoke of Oxen and Cart.
to Susan Allison the sum of One Hundred Pounds to be paid by George Mackey to Letitia Mackey the sum of Two Hundred Pounds to be paid by George Mackey to my Grandson David M Mackey the sum of One Hundred Pounds to ?son Hon John Mackey the sum of five Shillings and my silver watch to my daughter Rachel Fulton the sum of five Shillings to my daughter Elizabeth Fury the sum of five SHillings to my daughter Ageness Kelton the sum of five Shillings to my son James Mackey the sum of five Shillings
