George Anderson Miller

George was a farmer and had a large contingent of slaves.

In 1850, George (71 yrs) is living with wife "Eliza" at Savannah River Regiment, Abbeville, South Carolina (US Census). Their nearest neighbor is Nicholas Hardin Miller, his wife Mary, and their 9 children. Nicholas is 46 yrs old. Eliza Miller is 45 yrs old. Eliza (Elizabeth) would have to be a second wife then to George (26 yrs younger) and a stepmother to his children.

Other interesting point is on both sides of them are Clinksales families - as they are paired with them in many court proceedings and all kinds of events in South Carolina over the years, it is highly probable that they are related in some way.
