As a youth George Mundee entered the telegraph service and was employed in Texas and Western States. Later he returned to Florida and came to Palatka as a telegrapher. Here he married Miss Anita Rogero and this was their family home for many years, while here he was employed by the old J.T. & K.W. Ry. In 1901 the family moved to Jacksonville, where Mr. Mundee served as deputy city recorder, municipal court clerk, and in other official stations. He is survived by his widow; two sons, Ernest M,.
