George Overend, I

George Overend arrived in America in 1832 and was an expert wool carder, noted for the beautiful wool blankets he could make.

"His death occurred during the cholera epidemic in Peoria, Illinois. He had gone to town and when he didn't return he was presumed to have been a cholera victim and was presumed to have been disposed of along with the many others who had succumbed and were hurriedly disposed of, thus his place of burial is unknown.
