afternoon the late residence of George W. Peck was crowded with relatives and friends who had come from far and near to pay their tribute of respect to his memory. particularly his connection with the church and his usefulness therein, Mr. Irwin was moved by strong emotion, which could not be hidden. He spoke of Mr. Perk's ability as a memoir of the board of church trustees (at the time of his death he was president) to get things done. There was a wealth of flowers. The services at the grave at Mt Rest Cemetery were conducted by Mr Irwin. As the friends of Mr. Peck, cherish his memory they will recall his generous nature, his genial disposition and his never failing to have a pleasant Word for every one he met.
