Biography

George was born about 1690, Weymouth, Massachusetts. His date of death is unknown. He did not die on either 08 February 1756 or 08 February 1765, Rehoboth, Massachusetts. He doesn't seem to have ever lived in Rehoboth, and both those dates appear to be typographical errors that have been copied over and over again. It was actually his nephew George Reed of Rehoboth who died at Rehoboth on 08 February 1735/36: http://ma-vitalrecords.org/MA/Bristol/Rehoboth/Images/Rehoboth_D869... .
