About George Reid
George Reed married Margaret It is possible that George was from Hampshire Co., VA, which is now part of West Virginia. George served in the Revolutionary War in the Virginia forces. He was married at least twice (his first wife may have been a Miss Renick), and perhaps three times. We do not know which children were from which mother, but believe that Elizabeth’s mother was Margaret. The Reeds were in Bourbon Co., KY, at the time of the 1800 census.
