George Reid

Funeral services for George Reid, 72 years, 9 months and 18 days, were held at Kinyon Chapel. The Rev. C.E. Wilcox of the First United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery beside his wife. Mr. Reid was born at Province, Quebec, Canada, Sept. 15 1864. He was married to Hattie Bigelow at Woonsocket in 1906 and has lived on his farm south of Huron since that time. Mrs. Reid died Jan 29, 1931. He leaves to mourn his death one daughter, Mrs. Julius Kettleson; two sisters, Mrs Mary Cooper, Williamstown, Ontario, Canada, Mrs Myrtle McMillan, Apple Hill, Ontario, Canada; two brothers, Harvey and William Reid of Hinckley, Minn., two grandchildren, Raymond and Herbert Kettleson.
