B F Fackenthal brackets sons Benjamin, George & Samuel and states that two of these three are medical doctors. Beaver Springs History says, in 1810, George Riegel donated funds for a stove in the First Lutheran & Reformed Church, called Beaver Dam church then, later Adamsburg & Black Oak Ridge Church. 1810 census, Beaver Twp., Northumberland Co., Pa. George Reagle. The Snyder Co. History by Everts, Peck, & Richards says he was assessed as a carpenter in Beaver Twp. in 1814. 1820 census for Beaver Twp., listed as having four sons under 10 years of age with he and wife aged 26 to 45 years of age. Land warrents: (1) George Rigel, survey 25 acres, 27 JUL 1820, return 30 MAY 1839, 25 acres, H-44-116. (2) George Rigel, survey 225 acres, 13 FEB 1839, return 30 MAY 1839, 249 acres, GR, H-41-116, both in Beaver Twp., Union Co., Pa. 1850 census shows family in Beaver Twp., Union Co., Pa. 1812-15 tax list for Mifflin Co., Decatur Twp., shows George & John Reagle, mill on Jack's Creek.
