George married Alice Elsie Gundgeon in about 1722 in Baltimore County, Maryland. Together they had the following children:

Transcribed Will 1 July 1772. Will of Giles Stephens of Loudoun County, Va., being very old and infirm. Mentions loving wife Else Stephens. After her death, land whereon I now live it being a lease for lives to my son Thomas Stephens and heirs. To son Ephraim Stephens all my wearing apparel, after my wife Elises death I give him a mare named Pleasure. Remainder to be divided among my children, to wit

- Giles Stevens, Jr.
- Born at Shirleysburg, February 1, 1773.
- Died in Springfield Township, October 21, 1854. Buried in Jordan Graveyard.
- Twice married.
- First wife, Hannah Gilbert Jenkins. Born in 1772. Probably at Shirleysburg, died at farm
- near Shirleysburg, September 8, 1828. Buried in old Shirleysburg Cemetery near F.B.T
- Railroad. Married March 7, 1793.

- All of the above are from Benedict Stevens Sr.’s family record, but only births are given.
- Apparently he had at least fourteen children by two marriages, eleven sons and three
- daughters. Eldest was forty-six when the youngest was born.
