Capt. Walter Synnot 45, Leader of this Party, together with his wife Elizabeth Houston 20, and 5 children, were members of Synnot's Party of 25 Settlers on the Settler Ship Fanny.

Party originated from Newtown Hamilton, County Armagh, Ireland

Area Allocated to the Party : located in the Groot Seekoei Valley in the Clanwilliam district, at the junction of the Jan Dissels and Olifants Rivers.

George b. 23 Feb 1819, at Ballymoyer, Armagh, emigrated with his father to Tasmania 1836, married Catherine Holmes of Maystone House Armagh 1844 and died at Chelsea, England, 1 Jul 1871.
