Convict “Somersetshire” 1815

There is some debate that George and Sarah (Smith) Hopkins - Trowbridge - Webb, Convict “Maria” 1818 are the parents of John Trowbridge, {Australian Immigrant}

John’s death notice in The Mercury in 1877 describes him as “in his 63rd year” which would have him born c1815 - this was prior to Sarah’s arrival in Australia in 1818
