George Alvin Vancise

George Alvin Vancise adopted my mother, Nellie May Johnson, and aunt Ethel Becket. When I created the Geni Tree, I hand to choose between my mothers naturat family (Cunningham) and the Vancise family, Geni has no way to have 2 sets of parents... I tried. As I had very little Vancise family, and a lot of Cunningham I added her as the Cunningham family meaning the Vancise family is not on my Geni. George lived on Manitouln Isand in Ontario when he adopted my mother... about 1917 or so. He later moved to Collingwood and then to the Niagara region. His wife was Alice.
