George Washington Whitecotton

Son of George Alexander and Mary Zerelda Spalding Whitecotton, was born in Ralls County, MO on August 5, 1858 and died at Hannibal, MO on Mar 30, 1907.

On Nov 26, 1889 he married Elizabeth (Lily) Brewington McAtee at Hannibal, MO. She was born at that place on Jun 9, 1867, the daughter of Clement C. and Jeannie Brewington McAtee.

One daughter, Jeannie Brewington Whitecotton, was born at New London, MO on 9/23/1891.

George Washington was a very prominent lawyer and his untimely death cut short a very promising career.
