"George D. Witwer George D. Witwer, 84, Narvon R2, died at his home, at 12:30 a.m. Saturday following a lengthy illness.
Born in E. Earl Twp., the son of the late Benjamin and Barbara Ludwig Witwer, he was a life-long resident of the area.
Witwer was a member of the Bangor Episcopal Church, Churchtown, for the last 63 years, but had attended Bridgeville Evangelical Congregational Church for the past 60 years without ever transferring his membership.
A retired farmer, he is survived by his wife, Catherine Witman Witwer; a daughter, Grace, wife of Daniel W. Burkholder, New Holland R1, a son George R., Narvon R2, 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren."
