Geraldine Haider, 81, of Mandan, North Dakota, passed away November 6th, 2021 at her residence at Touchmark on Century in Bismarck, North Dakota. Burial in Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan, North Dakota.

Geraldine was born November 10th, 1939 in Mandan, North Dakota to George and Clementina (Zander) Stein of Mandan, North Dakota.

She was raised and educated in Mandan, North Dakota. Geraldine married the love of her life, Raymond “Ray” Haider August 22, 1959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan, North Dakota. They made their home in Mandan and raised three daughters.

Geri enjoyed taking care of the books for the family cattle buying business and later started her own daycare. Taking care of her family and the numerous daycare children gave her the greatest joy! Geri had the biggest heart for the children and they could never do any wrong. Spending time with family and friends was always at the forefront of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Susie (Dale) Little Soldier, & Sherrie (Toby) Kuntz of Mandan, North Dakota and their children Summer and Stetson, all of Mandan, North Dakota; son-in-law, Randy Fitchner of Rapid City, South Dakota; and his son Cooper (Carly) Fitchner of Denver, Colorado.

She is also survived by one brother, Kelly (Karen) Fleck; four sisters, Lucy (Jim) Hatzenbuhler, Helen Mischel, Mary Schmidt, Lavonne Fleck.

Geri was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; one daughter, Becky Fitchner; brothers, George Stein, Bob Stein, Dar Stein, Donald Fleck, Eugene Fleck Sr.; and one sister (Evelyn Schmidt)
