Geraldine D. Kilps, Lodi, Wisconsin, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday Mar. 3, 2016 in Lodi, Wisconsin.
She was born Oct. 18, 1927 in Rapid City, South Dakota, to the late Cornelis "Casey" and Dolores (Jobe) DeKramer.
Geraldine married Reginald Kilps on Mar. 7, 1957 in the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa.
She was very active in many organizations including being the Past Matron and Secretary of the Monona Chapter #5 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and later active at the Melody Chapter in Middleton. Geraldine worked for Church Day Nurseries as a teacher, and enjoyed her time working for Manchester's on the Square, Gimbal's and Marshall Fields at Hilldale Mall here in Madison. She kept herself busy participating in many organizations such as the Amaranth, Daughters of the Nile, and White Shrine of Jerusalem.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reginald Kilps, brother Arvid DeKramer, 4 sisters Maxine Martineau, Dorothy Sipe, JoAnn Michel, and Delores "Babe" Downey.
