About NN Ginsberg
? Ginsberg was a Jewish policeman from Lodz.
On 17 April 1941, savage German guards had taken away a sack of potatoes from a woman, on the eve of Passover.
Ginsberg asked the guard to give the potatoes back to the woman. As punishment for the audacity, the guard knocked Ginsberg to the ground, stabbed him with his bayonet and shot him as he lay there.
Weak from hunger, Ginsberg died in hospital.
