In the 1784 Poll Tax for Skuodas, there is a Hirz, son of Lejb, wife Dina. This may be this Hirsz. He would have been a young man without children yet, since his son Leib was born in 1789.

Assume he was born about 17 years earlier in 1772. They married very young at this period in this area, from other Blecher family records from the early 1800s. The husbands were 16 and the wives 14 in the later records.

There were no surnames however so this will have to be verified in later records.
