Grover Mountain Pierpont Tolliver

Per an old Currier Express Newepaper article at the age of 6 Grover got on a train in Chicago and treveled by himself to Buffalo NY to visit his Grandmother Anna Drabek who lived on Trevett Road, Springville NY. He told a Travelers Aid Worker Miss Adelaide Graham that he was going to his grandmother who lived somewhere on a hill. Grandmother was contacted and she went to pick him up at the Central Terminal in Buffalo. Grover lived with his mother Ms. Spophie Jones 4636 Drexel Blvd. Chicalo Il. His uncle Edward Drabek remembers Grover and the incident and often spoke of wondering where Grover and his mother were befor Ed Drabeks passing in December 2011

There is a 1930 census record (Chicago, Apr 1930) for James Jones (age 33 born in PA) and his son Grover M Jones (age 4 and 6/12 born in OH). James is shown as married at age 27, but there is no mention of a wife at the residence - Rainbow End Apts on South Shore Drive.
