About Gunhild Mary Howe
Immigrated to the USA in the 1882 when she was 18. Married Olav Danielsson Haug before they left.
Gunhild (1864-1958) married Olav Danielsen Haug (born in Nordby, Akershus), but moved to Sweden (Karlanda, Hog?). They emigrated in 1882 (when Julius also emigrated) when Gunhild was only 18. They had nine children. Many of them changed their names to Howe. Ole and his son Axel were clever carpenters. Axel married Bertha (German immigrant whose parents owned a dairy farm in Winsconsin.
