The News Obit starts "Jacob Lobel, co-founder with his brother, Morris, of a chain of retail clothing stores for children, died Sunday in his apartment at the Hampshire House after a long illness. He was 68 years old. / Mr. Lobel, and immigrant from Rumania, opened his first retail store here in 1913."
