Walton was graduated at the Pittsburgh High School, took in '90 his B. S. at the Pennsylvania State College, and is a law student in the office of Lyon, McKee & Sanderson, 118 Diamond street, Pittsburgh.

Judge Mitchell became Judge of the Orphan's Court in Pittsburgh in 1919 and was a lawyer at McKee, Mitchell, & Alter.
He built the Charter House for his fraternity Beta Theta Pi in Penn State and later built Lisnaward, summer home he built on land purchased as a student at Penn State. Lisnaward is currently the President of Penn State's home when the house and land was sold to Penn State in the 1990's.
He served as Chairman of the Board at Penn State and there is a building and street named in his honor in State College, PA.
