About Hannah Badger

Ben M. Angel's summary:

William Marlatt has her as the daughter of Peter Malott, born 1867, and Susanna Isenberger, whom he married in 1810 in Maryland. If she was born in the 1770s or 1780s, this would not be likely.

Rusty Miller has her as being born to Peter Malott and Rachel Unknown. This would seem to indicate a possible match with the elder Peter Malott and Rachel Keyes, the latter of whom who certainly was still in child-bearing years in the 1780s. (She married the elder Peter after he returned from the frontier, his wife having been captured by Indians who took her to the area of Detroit. When the first wife, Sarah Tracy Malott, recovered her freedom and relocated other captured members of family, and sent them back to Maryland to find what became of her husband, she found that her husband had presumed her dead and remarried to a much younger woman.)

Other online assertions (unsupported) include one that she was born to William Marlatt's Peter through his first wife, Sarah McGowan, whose marriage date is indicated as before 1808. If this assertion is true, then she would have been married some 30 years before this date.

A third unsupported assertion is that she was born to John Marlott and Elizabeth Wilson, made by Bre Buck: .
