About Hannah Hart, SM/PROG

Hannah Tamplin was born 30 Jul 1777 in Chorlwood, Surrey, England. She died 3 Sep 1853 in Glen Avon, Somerset East, South Africa. Hannah married Robert Ruben Hart Lieutenant.

On the 8th April 1804 (his abode was Strathaven, Lanarkshire) he married Hannah Tamplin of Surrey on the Island of Guernsey.

Jackie Medhurst sent the following information on the 1 Dec 2009 after I sent a request to her via Alan Dunn that she should have a look for me:

This is all that was written in the register of the Town Church, St. Peter Port, Guernsey (Sancti Petri de Porto):

"Robert HART, Sgt. 91st Reg. of Foot

Hannah TEMPLIN daughter of Richard of Worth, Surrey

9 April 1804".

(The surname was spelled TEMPLIN not TAMPLIN)
