About Hannah Lambert
Not the same as Hannah Lambert or as Hannah Lambert
Hannah Bates was born October 31, 1668, at Hingham, MA, the daughter of Joseph Bates Sr. & Hester Hilliard, as is recorded in Hingham town records.
She was married to John Lambert, circa March, 1693, probably at Scituate, but no marriage record exists.
As "Anna Lambert", she was admitted into the First Congregational Church, Hanover,... "January 2, 1731-2 Anna Lambert wife of John Lambert", & also as "Anna Lambert, an aged woman", she was baptized at the same church as an adult, the 16th of May, 1731. (History & Records of the First Congregational Church, Hanover, Mass., 1727-1865, by Vernon Briggs, pg. 188.)
She is found being warned out of Scituate, March 1, 1756, which is the last time she is heard from.
Disambiguation - not to be confused with Hannah who married Nathaniel Chapman.
NB She is not Hannah Holmes, daughter of Josiah. Hannah Holmes married John Lambert's brother, Thomas Jr., as multiple deeds make clear. The relationships are clarified in the Wikitree profiles for those involved:
