About Hannah Morrell
The parentage of the wife of Thomas Morrell, of Newtown is UNKNOWN.
She is not Hannah Pettit, although the Pettit family lived in Newtown.
Disconnected from Sir Peter Gleane, 1st Baron of Hardwick and Lady Penelope Gleane (Rodney).
Their only daughter was Frances Gleane who died as a teenager in 1675 in England.
Hannah Morrell married in New Amsterdam in 1660 and was likely born in New Amsterdam. Some sources have her name as Hannah Anne or Annetje/Antje/Annaatje. Hannah and Anne were the same name and it is possible that she was Dutch Annetje.
