Amelia Co., Virginia, at a Court Held 12 Aug 1737 The court order entry describes a family of siblings, lately imported into the Virginia Colony, applied for an allowance (of land): "Anne RUSSELL, Hannah RUDD, Elizabeth STOREY, William RUSSELL, and John STORY made oath they had no allowance for persons imported to this Colony."
