Jonathan's wife Hannah died by 1744, as by that time his wife was Elizabeth, who he mentions in his will. Jonathan wrote his will on 12 June 1744. He bequeaths to his wife Elizabeth; to son Jonathan and his wife Hannah; to children John, Bathsheba (Nurse), Sarah (Bridges); Toni's grandchildren the children of Hephzebah (Haven); to daughters Mehitable (Bixby), Hannah (Mayhew). On 13 November 1748 Jonathan added a codicil for the further support of his wife by his son Jonathan.[12]
Jonathan died in Framingham on 25 December 1753.
