HEMBREE, HARMON died 28 Oct 1950
Harmon Hembree, aged 78 years passed away at his home East of Huntsville, Saturday, October 28. Besides his widow, Mrs. Sallie Ann Hembree, he is survived by two sons, Joe M. Hembree, of California and William R. Hembree of North Carolina; three daughters, Ethel Morris, of Knoxville, Sarah Bell Lawson of Indiana and Ernie Terry of Robbins; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a member of the Huntsville Church of God. Mr. Hembree was a well known and highly respected citizen and was loved by all who knew him. The humble manner in which he conducted himself made him many lasting friends, among them, a wide circle of children of Huntsville who knew and loved him. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 31, from the White Rock Baptist church of Huntsville with the Revs. M. L. Woods and Jim Lay officiating. Interment was in the Keeton cemetery with Rector-Hollingsworth in charge of arrangements.
