About Harmon Long Nissley

A telegram was received yesterday morning by Dr. Edwin M. Schindel, former mayor of Hagerstown, apprising him of the sudden death of his brother-in-law, HARMON LONG NISSLEY, a prominent attorney of Harrisburg. The telegram contained no details. Miss Florence Schindel, North Potomac Street, left at one for Harrisburg.

Mr. Nissley was a native of Lancaster county, where he spent his boyhood. Later he moved to Harrisburg, where he began the practice of law. He married Miss Clara J. Schindel, daughter of the late Lewis Schindel, of Hagerstown. He was a Republican and served as a notary public for many years. At the time of his death he was president of the City School Board of Harrisburg.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Dorothy, and a number of brothers and sisters. Mrs. Nissley and her daughter were visiting here last week.
