Harold Clifford Gingrich

Daddy never talked much about his childhood years or anything about him. I know he was drafted into the Army and while on leave just before he was to ship out he was in a serious car accident-they thought he was going to die and they did not set his broken nose and when he got better-he would not let them break it again. Dad and Mom met when Dad was sent to Tonkawa, Oklahoma to guard the German Prisioners at the POW Camp there. The prisoners were part of Rommel's African Corp-they would bring them in on the train and then march them down the main street of Tonkawa and out to the camp.
