Harold J. Otte, age 77, of Sauk Centre died Monday, June 18, 2001 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was Thursday, June 21 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Theodore Niehaus officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Harold J. Otte was born on February 18, 1924 in Sauk Centre Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Bernard and Catherine G. (Jenniges) Otte. He married Alberta Ella Gamradt on Nov. 28, 1944 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. He lived and farmed in Sauk Centre all his life. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Bishop F. Busch Council #4863 Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Otte of Sauk Centre; children, Donald Otte and his wife, Edna of Sauk Centre, Marilyn Harris and her husband, Chuck of Sauk Centre, Laura Moscho of St. Cloud, Karen Scott and her husband, Donald of Sauk Centre, and Sonja Miller and her husband, Brian of Sauk Centre; brothers and sisters, Agnes Schwieters of Glenwood, Theresa Ward and her husband, David of Anoka, Walter Otte and his wife, Maxine of Chula Vista, CA, Lorraine Geer and her husband, Bill of Sparta, Tenn., Katherine Otte of Lemon Grove, CA; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Richard Otte, Bernard Otte, Rose Schwieters, Hilda Lentz and Monica Farrow. Casket bearers were grandchildren, Steve Balamut, Aaron Moscho, Nathan Moscho, Jeff Otte, Jane Bontje and Jennifer Moscho. Cross bearer was Pam Durbin with Katelyn and Brandon Durbin. Honorary bearers were Leo and Toni Wiener, Lawrence Marthaler, Virgil Niehaus, Kenny Gamradt, LeRoy Sukke, Andy and Dora Wiegers, Lewis and Leora Calkins, Vern Karasch, Al Schmitz, Gene and Linda Miller, Ervin Schmiesing, David and Sharon Gamradt and Howard and Janice Majerus. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church for Harold J. Otte, 77, who died Monday.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home,

Sauk Centre. Christian Mothers will pray at 7 tonight at the funeral home followed by parish prayers at 8 and

Knights of Columbus at 8:30.

Harold J. Otte was born in Sauk Centre Township, Stearns County, to Bernard and Catherine G. (Jenniges) Otte.

He married Alberta Ella Gamradt on Nov. 28, 1944, at St. Paul's Catholic Church. He lived and farmed in Sauk

Centre all his life. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Bishop F. Busch Council 4863 Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; children, Donald, Marilyn Harris, Karen Scott and Sonja Miller of Sauk Centre, and
