About Harold Ester Sommer
As told by Doris Cornett, daughter of Harold Sommer:
"Aunt Mary moved in with Grandpa Pete and took care of my Dad after his mother [Grandpa Pete's 1st wife Addie Taylor] died until he remarried. She also followed Mother and Daddy to AZ after Jack was born because she was sure Mother was not capable of taking care of Daddy - not Jack but my Dad. I don't know how long she lived with them but according to the family stories from Daddy's half sisters the time came when Daddy was told to either get rid of the Aunt or his wife would be gone. We had many pictures of Aunt Mary with Jack as a toddler. I no longer have any."
