Methodist Church of
He was a Army veteran,
having served in the Pacific
Theater of Operation, and was a
former member of VFW Post 4793
and James Farrell American
Legion Post 330, both of
Mr. Tharp had worked as a

closed and then worked for
Nickles Bakery until his
retirement in April 1988.
On March he married
Nancy Ealy Tharp, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his
wife are one daughter. Anna M.
Tharp of Akron, Ohio; four sons,
Terrance E. Tharp Sr. of
Washington, Kenneth I. Tharp of
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Alan D.
Tharp of Sycamore and Randy D.
Tharp of Lippencott; three
brothers, Kenneth Tharp and
Orman Tharp, both of Salem,
Ohio and Orville Tharp of
17 grandchildren;
seven and
several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one sister,
Regina Hazel and two brothers,
Rex Tharp and Elton Tharp.
